I first saw a Philodendron Micans at another growers house and I fell in love with the leaves and a whole new world of plants was opened up to me. I was officially a leaf girl…. And a Velvet girl… An anything with leaves girl… š Lol.
I finally got to the point recently where I was ready to buy my first Micans. I ordered from The Green Leaved Garden and two days later I was picking my new babe up.
And here she is. Meet Verity.
Look how those leaves sparkle in the sun.
Now I just need to find the right pot for her to look fabulous in.
I am at the point now where the plants I want are getting more expensive and now that Verity is here, my next no.1 Unicorn is a Philodendron Gloriosum.
I’m not sure what it is about Velvet leaves that I love. I’m the same with clothes and decore. I love a good bit of quality velvet thrown in with everything. Clearly it’s the same with my plants.
